Online Banking, Bill Pay Browser Settings &
User Requiremnts
Here
is a quick guide to adjusting browser settings to minimize conflicts
with the The State Bank Group’s Online Banking and bill pay services.
Windows
Internet Explorer
The default cookie settings in Internet Explorer
should not prohibit an end users access into the Bill Pay System.
If a user has adjusted their cookie settings to be more aggressive
in its acceptance of cookies have the end user add the following
sites to its Always Allow Exceptions List.
Financial Institution Online URL (Once user is logged
in)
CheckFree server address “billpay1.pscufs.com”.
IE 6
1. From Internet Explorer, select the Tools > Internet Options Menu.
2. Select the Privacy Tab.

3. Click the Sites button.

4. Type in billpay1.pscufs.com
5. Click
Allow
6. Do the same for the Financial Institution’s Online URL.
7. Click Ok
8. Click Apply, and then Ok.
9. You should now be ready to
log into the Financial Institution site and access bill pay.
IE 7
1. From Internet Explorer, select the Tools > Internet Options Menu.

2. Select the Privacy Tab.

3. Click the Sites button.

4. Type in billpay1.pscufs.com
5. Click Allow.
6. Do the same for the Financial Institution’s
Online URL.
7. Click Ok.
8. Click Apply, and then Ok.
9. You should now be ready to log into the Financial Institution site and access bill pay.
Firefox 2.x
The default cookie settings in Firefox 2.0 should
not prohibit an end users access into the Bill Pay System. If a user
has adjusted their cookie settings to be more aggressive in its acceptance

Mac OS X
Firefox 2.x
Firefox installs with default cookie handling that
should allow access into the bill pay system. If a customer experiences
problems walk them through the following steps to resolve.
1. Launch Firefox
2. Click the Firefox menu
and select preferences

3. Click the Privacy Menu

4. Click the Exceptions button;
- add the Financial Institution Online Address
- add the CheckFree server address “billpay1.pscufs.com”.

5. Click the Close icon at the top of the Exceptions – Cookies
window
6. Click the Close Icon at the top of Preferences Window.
7. You
should now be ready to log into the Financial Institution site and
access bill pay.
Safari 1.3/2.0
Safari ships with its cookie preferences to accept
only from sites you navigate to (originating sites). The Bill Pay
system is a different URL from the Online Banking. If the default
Safari cookie setting is not changed the CheckFree Cookies can not
to be set and leads to failure in loading the CheckFree interface.
If a Safari user is having difficulty getting the Bill Pay site to
load once they click the Bill pay link from the online banking have
the user go through the following steps.
1. Launch Safari
2. Click the Safari menu
on the Application bar, select preferences.

3. Change the Accept Cookies setting to Always
. 
If you have concerns over accepting all cookies,
given it will accept from all sites they browse to, explain that
this is a limitation of the Safari browser. Firefox for MAC OS X
allows for an exception list while maintaining a stricter acceptance
of cookies from sites the user browses. You may want to move Firefox
Online Banking.
User Requirements – Q2Online™ Banking
As with most online applications, connectivity, user hardware, browser support
and integration is critical to providing the best user experience. We work
hard to make sure that the most popular systems represent Q2Online Banking
properly and securely. Below is a summary of recommended hardware, browsers,
and accounting software that we test and support.
Recommended Minimum User Hardware and Connection:
• Standard PC or Mac (Pentium IV/1 GHz processor or higher/500 Mb RAM or
greater)
• Microsoft® Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista/7 or Mac OS-X
• Cable, DSL or ISDN Internet connection (dial-up supported for basic consumer
users only)*
• Supported browser for consumer and commercial users
• Security, anti-virus and Spyware updates applied
• A valid email address and telephone number
*Note: Satellite cable connections often have difficulty supporting encrypted
(HTTPS) applications. Because online banking is HTTPS encrypted for the safety
of your financial information, some satellite cable connections may exhibit slow
response.
Supported Browsers by Operating System:
The following browsers have been tested and determined to provide reliable user
experience for Q2Online Banking. Some of these browsers may show minor behavioral
or cosmetic differences for Q2Online Banking, but generally support the use of
the retail and commercial banking application and functionality. It is always
recommended to use the latest browser version available from the provider.
Microsoft Operating Systems
Mac Operating Systems (use Mac version of popular
browsers)
